Biography
The Centre de Formation et de Recherche pour le Développement (CFRD INTERNATIONAL) is a non profit organisation and a research organisation. Dr. Ndjadi Jean Raphaël is a specialist in social sciences (PhD) and has multidisciplinary competences. He has worked for over 15 years in the area of international human rights and the promotion of sustainable development, working for UN agencies, for international organizations, and for human rights organizations. He has had nearly twenty years of experience as a researcher, academic, UN staff member, expert advisor and activist in the field of human rights and international law. He has longstanding experience with political actors and the international community. He collaborated with a number of UN agencies from 1993 to 2010 (UNDP, UNEP, FAO, UNFPA, UNICEF, WFP, etc). This experience has led him to become familiar with the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and the main treaties on Human Rights (PIDESC, PIDCP, CAT, CEDAW). He has outstanding credentials in human rights and justice. He is the author of a number of publications on human rights. He is the President of a research centre on development issues and collaborated with a number of UN agencies on development issues in the World. Research at CFRD INTERNATIONAL addresses the broad range of economic, technological, political, social and cultural challenges facing an enlarged and enlarging Africa, Europe and is organised around two broad areas of concern: 1. Enterprise, Innovation and Development: Research Clusters: Innovation Policy and Support, Strategic People Management, etc.; 2. Society and Human Development: Research Clusters: Culture and Politics, New Governance, Human Rights, Education, etc.. Within each of these Research Tracks, CFRD INTERNATIONAL encourages the formation of various Research Clusters, each focusing its expertise on a specific set of research objectives. In line with the international vision established for the Centre, these Research Clusters explore their specific research questions through lenses that may be disciplinary, multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary.
